Abstract
We study the temperature dependence of the instanton content of the QCD vacuum using lattice gauge method. With the quenched approximation, we found that the topological susceptibility shows a weak temperature dependence, in good agreement with PCAC prediction, up to the deconfinement temperature, above which rapid suppression sets in. The instanton profile remains remarkably constant as a function of temperature, showing slight deviations only at temperature above 1.5T_c.
