Numerical Study of Usefulness on Statistical Testing in Geodetic Surveying of Japan

Abstract

The statistical analysis is the one of the fundamental knowledge of the geodetic surveying. The survey manual in Japan, however, does not have a rule with respect to the statistical testing on the geodetic surveying data. This report shows the necessity of the statistical analysis through several worked examples.
