The 2nd order triangulation net covering the Seven Izu Islands is re-evaluated and the result is compared with the new result of side length measurements. The calculated earth's horizontal strain during last 80 years between the Izu Penin sula and the Ooshima is compatible with the NNW drifting of the Philippine Sea Plate.
