Abstract
A new positioning method (KVD) by relative GPS measurements is proposed. Noises in low frequency region not eliminated sufficiently by PVD method are reduced much . Carrier wave phases make possible a high precision measurement in a broad range of frequency. Resolution of initial phase ambiguities are not required, if the variation component of the observationpoint coordinates is the target of the measurement as in the present method . Hence, loads of the calculation and communication are reduced drastically. In addition, the baseline may be extended drastically. Applications to wave measurements by an ocean buoy and measurements of long period earthquake are expected.
