Abstract
It is essential to promote the project with capabilities of both engineering and management in order to lead the software development project to success. Project leaders promote projects with their full management capability and with repetitive improvement of the engineering process. In the IT Skill Standard, abbreviated as ITSS afterwards, it requires the capability to apply the knowledge to the actual project for an engineer to make progress ITTS from level 3 to level 4. We have established the practical training course of the Quality Evaluation and the Progress Management aiming at providing capabilities of quality management, progress management and cost control among project management capabilities ready for use in real project. We have also established the practical training course of the Design Methodology and the Testing Methodology to provide engineers engineering capabilities ready for use in real projects. In this paper we discuss the concept and knowhow obtained through planning and operation the practical training courses.
