Abstract
Talent in the software field is insufficient in Japan. There is Project Based Learning class to solve this problem. In the Project Based Learning class, the techniques for the software development project of the industrial world are used to improve practical skill. Therefore, it is requested to deliver the system surely in the delivery date. However, all members are often constructed with the member who doesn't experience the project development, so estimating the effort accurately becomes very difficult. Use Case Point method was proposed as one of the solutions. The author applied the Use Case Point method in Project Based Learning that participated, and verified the effect. In the result, some problems became apparent. This paper discusses the effect and the problem of the Use Case Point method in Project Based Learning.
