Abstract
It is an important topic where new development methodologies (such as agile software development) occur in a traditional organization with separate departments for Development, IT Operations. The Goal of DevOps to make the process of deploying applications faster and smoother. Developers should look to spend more of their time getting closer to the business, not getting closer to the hardware implement and Preparations for operative start. I fully acknowledge that there is a need for quicker and less-rickety deployment processes. When "A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time, and therefore defined scope and resources", in PMBOK, there is it, but the project management in the conventional development project cycle intends for the thing in an existence time limit and is not spoken the management method of the project to continue without a time limit. I speak the difference with conventional project management and clarify the role of the project manager in DevOps last. DevOps is a defined set of emerging practices to get developers and operations pros to work together. Finally I clarify the role of the project manager in DevOps.
