Abstract
In recent years, in the company etc., BCP/DR (Business Continuity Plan /Disaster Recovery) attracts attention as systematic provision to a man-made disaster or a natural disaster. Generally, BCP/DR is said to be a high cost structure because of the backup organization with a data center etc. Therefore, the deployment of BCP/DR is progressing focusing on the major company, but small and medium-sized enterprises are still insufficient. On the other hand, internet environment is progressing rapidly. Especially, the cloud computing which can be used for backup of the data and software of a company, etc. has been progressing. However, since the Internet is used, Cloud is also revealing the risk, and the countermeasure of this risk is an important issue. In this paper, the BCP Cloud configuration which combined BCP/DR and Cloud is proposed by a viewpoint of the BCP/DR deployment of small and medium-sized enterprises. That is, in order to apply Cloud to BCP/DR, the security side and a cost side are investigated from a viewpoint of cost effectiveness. These results showed clearly that the hybrid configuration of Cloud and a data center is suitable as a BCP Cloud configuration.
