A Case Study on the System Safety Verification and Validation Body of Knowledge(<Special Issue>Risk of Project and Organization & Mechanism and Organization Activity for Succeeding Project)

Abstract

Although several safety system development methods were introduced by Nancy Leveson in Safeware, modern methods that are necessary for developing large enterprise information systems safely were not mentioned .by the book. In this paper, a systematic body of knowledge for safety verification and validation is proposed. A case study to introduce the proposed body of knowledge for a large Japanese communication service company is also described.
