Recently, big data and pattern-extracting technologies have been introduced as possible keys for obtaining answers to complicated social issues. One of the main issues in our society is reproducing the meaning of media systems. Certain groups of researchers argue that “supersense” has become the main focus of analysis of the meaning of media systems. The supersense prevents atomized people creating the meaning. This research gives an outline of the possibility of big data and pattern-extracting technologies contributing to our endeavors to create and stabilize social meanings. These technologies will form a part of communication media that supports our ability to create new meanings through the repetition of existing ones.
