Japanese Animation, globally spread out via the Internet, is an important source of “soft power”, playing a pivotal role in the so-called “Cool Japan Policy”. On the other hand, business owners and creators who are in charge of creating its values have not been benefitting enough. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the issues and opportunities the industry withholds, as well as its structure, from the perspectives of Informatics and Management.
