Abstract

The aim of this report is to discuss about SNS usage of international students' and their cross-cultural adaptation. Accompanying with the spread of mobile phone, the world-wide media evolution has influenced not only general people's management of human relationship but also socio-cultural life of international students. The survey was conducted to measure international students' SNS usage and their adaptation to host country. And they were asked about the reason for browsing native mass media news and host country's media news. The correlation means that the change of media environment enabled international students to contact their native culture frequently and influenced their cultural adaptation. The reason for the selection of new source suggested that their perspective of interest should be correlated with SNS usage.
