This paper aims to clarify the characteristics of the otaku's promoting act, the "Fukyo." Using PAC analysis, we surveyed five undergraduate and graduate students who had experienced the "Fukyo" to others. The survey's results indicated five characteristics, such as the familiarity between otaku and the other person who perceived "Fukyo." In addition, we found advantages and improvements using PAC analysis and issues such as participants' bias in our survey. Finally, our results highlight the importance of rethinking "Fukyo" from recipient-side analysis and clarifying the academic positioning of "Fukyo" as future work.
