Effect of Lmusic-Making by Use of Bamboo Tubes on Learning Music

Abstract
In this paper, the auther studied the learning effect when bamboo tubes, but not conventional music instruments, as used to make music. The behavior of children and the works they made were analysed in terms of the following two points: 1) What kind of possibility is found in their music works in point of the elements of music when children use bamboo tubes? 2) What kind of aspect is developed in the behavior of children by using bamboo tubes. For the first point, children expressed themselves by many music elements such as rhythm, texture, tempo, dynamics, timbre, form and melody. For the latter one, children were motivated to make music activity so as to move outside the classroom and to make groups through communication. Thus, it is concluded that bamboo tubes are effective in learning music.
