Abstract
In actual multivariable control systems, controlled variables interact each other. In this case one compensation for a control loop exerts harmful influence upon another control loop through the interaction. This paper presents a noninteracting
PID control for a fluid temperature and liquid level interacting system.
First, a precompensator for removing the interaction is designed using the inverse Nyquist array method. Further, the integrator decoupled system using state feedback is designed. Then every single loop is compensated independently by a single loop PID control.
