Studies of effective amidation and esterification reaction utilizing sulfonyl halide

Abstract

In the synthesis of biologically active substance such as various pharmaceutical chemicals, amidation or esterification reaction is one of the most basic reactions. We developed effective amidating and the esterification method of having used sulfonyl halide. This method using this sulfonyl halide is expected to be widely used as a convenient and effective amidation esterification method in a region requiring mass synthesis etc. since the reaction reagent is inexpensive and excellent in operability.
