This study focuses on the seismic safety of entire bridge structures and proposes a generalized safety evaluation method based on high-precision numerical analysis. The applicability of the proposed method is demonstrated through a case study involving an upper-deck steel arch bridge, showing that the current numerical analysis techniques can accommodate this approach. The method provides objective information for evaluating the seismic safety of bridges, particularly when the ultimate behavior characteristics of the structure under earthquake conditions are not well understood.
