The clinical practical guidelines for pancreatic cancer (PC) were revised in July, 2019. Five clinical questions and 1 column describe stent treatment for PC. In clinical question SSt1, the optimal biliary drainage approach in patients with unresectable PC was discussed. In clinical question SSt2, the types of stent to be placed preoperatively in patients with PC were discussed. In clinical questions SSt3-1 and SSt3-2, the types of stent for patients with unresectable PC and obstructive jaundice were discussed. In clinical question SSt4, the optimal treatment in unresectable PC with gastrointestinal obstruction was discussed. In the column, stent treatment in the era of of chemotherapy and radiotherapy was mentioned.
