Abstract
In previous paper was described the industuial utilization of the waste calcium carbide-method. In the present papes. We described about a reaction of CaC2 and bittern to give C2H2 gas and Mg (OH)2 according to the following reaction.
CaC2+MgCl2+2H2O→C2H2+Mg(OH) 2+CaCl2
Investigating emiting velosity of C2H2 gas and easiness of filtration, impurities in yield of produced Mg(OH)2. We examined various industrial condition of the reaction such as temperature and concentration.
