The authors measured the spectral reflectance of various common salts, sand “shansha”, surface soil of salt field “Irihama” and bed clay of sloping salt field in Oshio and Akaho, and distingnished their optical surface-character by their, spectral reflectance curves, brightness and trichromatic coefficients.
