Abstract
When evaporation takes place isothermally in the saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride which contains other salt in addition to sodium chloride solution, the influences of salts upon linear and three dimentional growth velocity of sodium chloride seed are different.
Some of them disturb crystal growth of sodium chloride, other accelerate it. we studied on this problem at 1% addition of various sodium salt and we obtain the result the former are F- CO3=1-NO2-SO3=HPO4=HCO3- the latter are Br-C2O4=PO4 SO4=H2PO4-. The order of these series exhibit the degree of their influences.
Furthermore, we studied the influences of HCl and NaOH at the various mol ratio between sodium chloride and excers Cl- or Na+ ion by addition of NaOH and HCl.
Our experimental results showed that sodium chloride seed grows most rapidly at excess 10-3 mol of them.
