Abstract
Authors have studied on the sampling method for determination of chromic acid mist concentration in the exaust gas from chromium plating processes.
The isokinetic sampling techniques were needed in this case too, as dust sampling, and sampling errors due to anisokinetic sampling were indicated by Davis's equation called as Watson's equation in Japan.
Impinger, dust tube and cylindrical glass fiber filter were appropriate as mist collector for this sampling techniques.
Collected mist in sampling nozzle and tube should be added to analytical sample sollution for chromium determinating operation.
Also, sampling location and sampling point in the duct were studied.
