ON THE MELTINIG POWER OF HEROULT TYPE ELECTRIC ARC FARNACE

Abstract

On the melting power of Heroult type electric arc furnace, I think we can classif it into three parts as follows.
(1) Heat absorbeb in the Molten metal. (2) Heat radiated through refractory materials of farnac (3) Heat absorbed in refractory materials of furnace.
hrefore we can show above by a simple linear equation.
