Abstract
In the northern part of Miyagi Prefecture, 21 electronic appliacne factories have been established since 1963. Those in Furukawa, Nakaniida, Iehihazama, Wakuya etc. are grouped into some key plants and the ones surrounding them.
Accordingly, for the recognition of their orderly arrangement, we have to study the locational behavior from the view point of the correlation between the factories and those between the enterprises, in addition to a mere consideration of the labour force and other locational conditions.
The same way, the systematic arrangement and the striking increase of the secondarily located factories are equally observed in the factories of other types of the industry in six prefectures of the Tohoku District.
