Abstract
Fig. 1 shows the population pyramids of the City of Senclai and all danchi in the City of Sendai, and Fig. 2 shows the population pyramids of two danchi in comparison to that of Sendai. The pyramid of Tsurugaya is an example of the younger ones and that of Midorigaoka (2) is an older type. The younger working age groups are lacking in the former pyramid and the latter pyramid resembles that of the city.
