Abstract
The orthorhombic perovskite-type oxides having A-site vacancy, Ca1-xLa2x/3□x/3MnO3, were synthesized by a standard ceramic technique. The thermoelectric properties such as Seebeck coefficient (S), thermal conductivity (κ) and electrical conductivity (σ) were investigated as functions of temperature and composition. The effects of insertion of A-site vacancy to the perovskite-type structure on the thermoelectric properties were investigated.
