Research on Value Creation Toward Smart Society by Japan Society for Information Management

Abstract

This article first outlines state-of-art of the research conducted by Japan Society for Infor- mation Management (JASMIN) and then illustrates that the research fields on value creation toward smart society have been expanded rapidly with emphasis on “digitalization” and “social value”. We also show some of future research topics of Management Information Systems (MIS) Study.
