Abstract
Transdisciplinary research is a new approach to integrate academic knowledge and social knowledge together, and to solve social issues by engaging stakeholders in society in research processes. It is expected to solve social wicked problems such as climate change and biodiversity loss, however scientific methodologies are not yet systematized. In particular evaluation method of transdisciplinary research is not well investigated．TRAFST has organized a new research group on “Systematization and Evaluation of Transdisciplinary Research”. This paper introduces the objectives, background and activity plan of the new research group.
