Part 1 : ApParatus for Measuring Size Penetration

Abstract

An apparatus has been devised to study size penetration into the during the sizing process.
Results:
(1) By using this apparatus, size penetration was observed at predetemined intervals or continuously. An experiment on a cotton yarn proved the usefulness of the tester.
(2) A basis for investigating the size penetration was obtained by this apparatus.
