Studies on Automatic Surveying of Land Slope

Abstract

Automatic surveying was tried with positioning device as an experimented which was constructed with 5 th, 6 th wheels and a tilt meter. This device automatically collected the x, y, and z values of slope land in time interval of 0.25-0.5 sec. From this serveying data, a contour map was drawn among 30minutes by a computer. It had possibility to accomplish the surveying and map making by one man who has no license or little knowledge about surveying. It was considered that the device was useful and economical for like small construction or golf course management.
