A Study on Feature Extraction from Profiles of the Side Views of the Face.

Abstract

This paper presents a feature information extraction from profiles. Feature points are identified along the profile by matching the amplitude and sign of the curvature with a defined sign pattern and by comparing the distance rations between the points with defined bounds.
