A Design Method of Multiple Filter Banks for Image Restoration

Abstract

A smoothing filter is introduced for reducing noise in non-stationary signals. Each windowed sequence of input images is divided into several groups by the LBG algorithm. In each group, the optimum coefficient set and filter outputs are calculated separately.
