OVERVIEW MULTIMEDIA and ITS FUTURE PROSPECT

Abstract

This paper describes general idea of multimedia. First several definitions of multimedia are introduced, then multimedia applications are discussed together with possible restrictions on multimedia and also with international standardization activities in this field.
