Relationship between Picture Quality and Band-Width for Stereoscopic Hi-Vision Images

Abstract

We evaluated the picture quality of band-limited stereoscopic Hi-Vision images, which were mathematically drawn to contain much stimulative ingredients for the human visual system. Throughout the tests, it became clear that these images are better evaluated when three-dimensionally indicated than when two-dimensionally indicated.
