A frame structure of FM multiplex broadcasting system for mobile reception

Abstract

This paper describes a effect of interleaving and the bit transmission order for a product code of the (272,190) codes. It is found from results of computer simulations using error pattern data collected by field transmission experiments that the bit transmission order of horizontal way has a good performance for FM multiplex broadcasting system. Laboratory tests on transmission quality using this frame is also described.
