HDTV Image Synthesizing System : HD-Synthevision

Abstract

"HD-Synthevision" is a new development in HDTV image synthesizing. It synthesizes electronic backgrounds and foreground live HDTV camera images according to the camerawork such as panning, tilting, zooming and focusing. In the case of HD-Synthevision, it is necessary to prepare the background image of which size is larger than HDTV. This paper describes the system configuration and the method for the very large movie image.
