Astrodesign and NHK developed a new image synthesizing system, called SYNTHEVISION. A live camera foreground picture is synchronously keyed into a background picture which is digitaly processed. SYNTHEVISION has two local area network, one is for data acquisition of camera operation, and the other is for remote control terminal.
