Field Experiments of Modem Algorithm on DSP for Mobile Telephone Facsimile

Abstract

To verify the effectiveness of the Voiceband modem control algorithm on the DSP chip for the mobile telephone facsimile, field experiments are conducted. We used the number of reconstructed lines in transmitted images as an indicator of improvement and confirmed image quality can be improved.
