Interference reduction effect of transmitting antenna directivity in synchronized FM broadcasting

Abstract

The interference effect between two synchronized FM broadcasting stations with omnidirectional or three-element YAGI antennas is studied. Computational experiments show that a smaller service area and a sharper directive antenna arrangement in which the two antenna are at orthogonal angles improve the service quality in the interference area.
