Development of I/Q detector IC for digital satellite receiver

Abstract

Single chip I/Q detector IC for digital broadcasting satellite receivers has been developed. I/Q detector with 90 degree phase shifter, low phase noise VCO with PLL, low distortion and wide range gain control amplifier, and I/Q amplifier have been integrated. By using this IC, the tuner system become to small and low cost.
