Abstract
The authors developed a new visualization technique for hemoglobin concentration image called the "near-infrared spectral reflectance motion image method." This method is based on Lambert-Beer's law and the pattern separation. We evaluated the basic ability of this novel noninvasive measurement method. From the spectral reflectance images of a palm, moving images of oxygenated hemoglobin concentration pattern and deoxygenated hemoglobin concentration pattern were obtained successfully. In this paper we reported the visualization technique.
