The 12th International Display Research Conference Japan Display '92" was held at October 12 14 at the International Conference Center Hiroshima in Hiroshima city. More than 1100 attendees including about 300 non-Japanese came to hear 221 papers describing new results in display technologies. The conference also was the successful first conference using HDTV equipment for the oral presentations.
