Abstract

Recently, organic electroluminescent (EL) devices have been extensively investigated. In this report, the fabrication of EL device with thin film of conducting polymers containing organic dye molecules or fullerene have been reported, and their electroluminescent characteristics have been discussed. By doping the conducting polymers with the molecules, color variability, emission quenching phenomenon and emission enhancement effect have been found in their electroluminescent characteristics.
