Abstract

This study analyzes the structural principle of the “multi-layered relationship” of participants, which is constructed in the modeling workshop, and clarifies its meaning, thereby confirming the validity of the modeling workshop as a means of supporting child rearing. In the first report, we clarified the mutual relationship between the main constituents of the modeling workshop that builds the “multilayered relationship.” The second report clarified the concrete and practical principles of facilitation that promotes mutual relationships among these subjects. In this paper, the model developed up to the 2nd report is applied and practiced, and it is evaluated what kind of educational significance the facilitation had for the participants. As a result, we found that “pleasure” is positioned as a meaning that the modeling workshop helps to support the child-raising generation. Furthermore, that “fun” comes not only from the programmatic activities of the program, but also from participation in the workshop itself and the involvement of facilitators, clients, and places and spaces in which they do their activities.
