Abstract
In this paper, we examined the process of focusing conducted by the kigakari method of focusing. Kigakari is something to worry about. Clearing a space using the kigakari method is a way to bring up things that are bothering you one by one and keep them at a reasonable distance from you. We reported an example of a focusing session conducted by the kigakari method. As a beginner, she was able to get into focusing on something to worry about and promote her focusing process relatively smoothly. The felt sense of the focuser and its expression changed into various expressions and the focuser experienced a feeling of liberation of mind and body. And finally, she was able to gain some new awareness. This interesting focusing session was discussed from the viewpoint of the focusing process, the utilization of clearing a space, and the guide’s guiding.
