Abstract
At present, few studies exist on the implementation of the preventive approach arranged by school counselors (SC). Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the progress and effect of cooperation between the SC and teacher as a preventive approach. In order to measure the effectiveness of collaborative classes, we conducted a questionnaire survey with the children and performed analysis of statistics and free description content. The analysis showed significant improvement in the results of the childʼs communication after the collaborative class (t (91) = -2.23, p <.05). Furthermore, it became clear that the awareness of communication is a factor. SCs are considered apt for an educational consultation system by virtue of the assigned SCs’ initial activities, which manifest both“ internality” and“ externality”. The results of the study allowed inference that teachers were able to pro-actively approach children and promote awareness of the childrenʼs communication through cooperation between the teacher and the SC, and through collaborative classes.
