Abstract
The objective of this study was to clarify the factors that would affect women’s health during the child-rearing period. Through GHQ-28 and formative research on people’s lives, four inventory surveys were conducted during the period from the subjects’childbirth up to thirteen months after delivery. The results were as follows: When the number of rooms increased, the subject’s health status deteriorated; when the health status of the subject was poor, her level of satisfaction regarding the residence decreased; and the detached house gives the damage in her health status.
