Notes and Illustrations of Four Abyssal Protobranchiate Bivalves Collected from the North Pacific by the H.M.S. Challenger in 1875

Abstract

Through courtesy of Mrs. Solene WHYBROW, British Museum (Natural History), the type specimens of four tiny protobranchs, Leda prolata, Yoldia hoylei, Malletia dunkeri and Glomus japonicus were examined on loan. The photographs of these specimens for the first time and some notes are given here.
