Notes on the Genitalia and Ecology of Euhadra murayamai HABE, 1976 (Bradybaenidae)

Abstract

Euhadra murayamai HABE is a sinistral species among Bradybaenidae. Eleven specimens that had been collected from limestone crevices in bush at a 600 m-elevation in Mt. Myojo, Itoigawa City, were dissected. From various characteristics among genital features, such as shapes of dart sac, accessory sac and dart, and number of mucous gland, this species is distantly independent from other sinistral snails of the genus Euhadra.
