A New Camaenid Species, Nipponochloritis silvaticus from Yamaguchi-ken, Japan

Abstract

A new species of the Family Camaenidae from Yamaguchi-ken, Japan, is described under the name of Nipponochloritis silvaticus. It is closely related to N. hiromitadae Minato, 1989 in general appearance of shell, but differs from the latter in lacking of penial appendix.
